About Our Self-Paced Course
Our course is designed for teachers and schools looking to strengthen classroom management and create classrooms where both students and teachers can thrive. Whether you are a new teacher, someone struggling with management, or a veteran educator who wants a calmer, more positive learning environment, this course helps teachers spend less time managing behavior and more time teaching, inspiring, and supporting student learning. The course is grounded in real classroom scenarios teachers face every day - students on their phones, disrupting classmates, wandering the room, or refusing to cooperate. Teachers learn exactly how to respond in these moments with practical, step-by-step strategies that work in real classrooms. We break down how to address both minor and serious misbehaviors while staying calm, confident, and in control. Unlike many classroom management programs that focus only on relationships or routines, Setting Limits provides a complete and balanced approach. Teachers learn how to build strong connections with students, explicitly teach and reinforce routines, and - just as importantly - set firm, fair limits and follow through with effective consequences. This often-overlooked piece is what allows classrooms to feel safe, respectful, and predictable for all students. The result is a classroom culture of clarity, consistency, and excellence - where teachers feel confident, students know what is expected, and learning can take center stage. Join us and build the skills needed for a more successful, sustainable classroom experience.

“By using the Setting Limits Program, our school has become a place of harmony.”
St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School, CA
“Upon starting as principal, I immediately implemented Setting Limits in the Classroom as our school-wide discipline policy. Lisa Mackenzie came to train our faculty, staff, and even parents. Setting Limits has played a central role in restoring our school culture! Our school has since drastically grown in enrollment, family engagement, and fidelity to our mission. I’ve had Lisa come each year during our preservice. The staff loves the training and uses the program.”
Pensacola, FL.
“Sheldon Elementary is a Title 1 school. It was in the second year of program improvement and about to be taken over by the state. I brought Lisa and Rob in to implement the Setting Limits Program. The following year, we were no longer considered “program improvement” and in three years, we received the “Blue Ribbon Award” for academic achievement. Our student population and demographics did not change. My teachers were empowered and able to handle the behaviors because of what they learned.”
(Former principal of Sheldon Elementary)
