About Lisa Stanzione

Lisa Stanzione is a credentialed teacher who holds both multiple subject and Learning Handicapped credentials, as well as CLAD.  She is a nationally recognized recipient of the Sallie Mae award for excellence in teaching (1994). Lisa has been teaching for over 15 years at both the elementary and high school levels and has been a co-presenter with Dr. MacKenzie and his Setting Limits in the Classroom Program for over 10 years.

Lisa received her M.A. in Special Education from California State University, Sacramento, in 1994.  She is a Master Teacher for Elk Grove Unified School District’s BEST Center for beginning teachers in special education and a supervising teacher for student teachers from several local universities. In addition to providing teacher-training workshops for the Elk Grove Unified School District, Lisa consults privately with schools, teacher organizations, and community service agencies. She leads over 30 workshops and training seminars nation-wide each year.
